Coconut, Cream and Milk
The rich, creamy taste of coconut is ideal to use in curries, casseroles, dairy-free drinks or desserts.
Coconut milk: This liquid is left behind after the flesh from the coconut has been made into a cream and then pressed. It is good for curry, beverages, sauces, and soups. Coconut milk contains less joules and fat per serve than coconut cream.
Coconut cream: This thick liquid is made from fresh coconuts. It's a solid, white layer of cream (fat and protein) that floats to the top. Coconut cream is a lot thicker than coconut milk, and intense in flavour...try making whipped coconut cream for your next dessert side dish.
