Corn, Baby
Baby corn is one type of corn that's sweet but very subtle in flavour because it harvested at the earliest stage, before pollination and almost right after the silk starts to appear.. It is widely used in East Asia and is harvested at the immature or earliest stage.
It's got less starches and sugar than adult corn.
- Good for Asian dishes, stir fry, adding colour to dishes.
- Stores well in fridge for a week, and is suitable freeze after blanching.
