Carrot
These are premium carrots from Aussie farmers.
It's the carrot and the stick approach for a reason...carrots are a sweet reward. They're low GI, and a good source of beta-carotene, folate, fiber, and potassium. We reckon more of us should be walking around eating premium, fresh, raw carrots.
- Freshest all year round.
- Great for snacks (raw), 'car fuel', juicing, dip dippers, salads, sides, curries, roasted or slow-cooked meals. Our kids love these for school snacks, or roasted until 'burnt sweet'.
- Store in fridge, the coolest part of the crisper for up to a week. Store away from potatoes and fruit, as the carrot can turn bitter.
Did you know?
Purple carrots are the original colour, not orange. Carrots are part of the Apiaceae family, with celery and parsley.
