Pumpkin, Butternut
There’s loads of nutrition like fibre, potassium, beta-carotene and inflammation-fighting antioxidants in pumpkin. Butternut pumpkin, or butternut squash, is lighter and smoother. It's sweet and dry. It’s easier to cut than most, and suited to roasting.
- Fresh all year round but best eating from March to August.
- Good for roasting, boiling, baking, grilling.
- Store in cool, dry place.
