I remember grabbing a lemongrass stalk from a clump out the back yard, and smelling this for hours. It's zesty and so fresh! No wonder it is so important to the flavour of many Asian soups, drinks and stir fries.
But, like pumpkins, we don't love preparing lemon grass as it is very tough. You can save time with these precut stalks that go straight into your dish.
